Boys just wanna have fun!

The Mesa Arts Center is a great place to take photos. (As evidenced by the numerous photogs seen there every weekend...) However, it is ALSO a great place to run around and explore if you are almost 2 and 4. Oh, well! I think it made for some VERY cute real-life photos of this family. They make me smile.

**We also had a short 4-year old photo shoot since this guy just had a birthday. Isn't he a handsome kiddo?!**

(red) in the desert

'Tis the season for family photos. Literally. Meet my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and my nephew. It was a great day to take their first official family photo and look how well my favorite prop worked with their ensembles! I love it. And I love that my nephew is an activist at the ripe old age of 3 months. Keep up the good work, buddy!

Coming soon...

I had the privilege of shooting Tracey and David's wedding this weekend. I have lots and lots to photos to edit, but I want everyone to be on the lookout for them. I will post a proper sneak peek when I have a good selection of shots to share. Be sure to check back soon...

Holiday Photos v 2.0

Yesterday I had a great time at the holiday photo shoot for this adorable little one. I was thrilled to get to take her photos again this year, and it has been fun comparing this batch to what we captured last year. She has grown so much, yet is still as cute as ever! She certainly was "on the go" and chatty, but that makes it even more fun.

Here is your sneak peek. Hope this tides you over while I get the rest ready for viewing. ..

Hiatus is over with a fun family shoot

I have been on a bit of a break, but no more! We are heading into the holiday season and I was lucky to get to kick it off with a shoot with this adorable family.

The youngest member of the fam is this 17 month-old cutie. Don't you just love his big eyes?

And then there is the older sis...she is a total sweetheart with the perfect amount of spunk.

Thanks so much for allowing me to take your family photos. It is a real privilege. I have to end with this "typical" shot. It might not be "perfect" but when is life? This is so REAL. I am envisioning it on the back of a Christmas card...can't you just imagine how perfect that would be??
